Archbishop of America Elpidophoros at Ecumenical Patriarchate on Sunday

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Sunday will receive visiting Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, on Sunday at the Patriarchate’s Fanar-district seat.

His Eminence will travel to the Bosporus metropolis, the ancient seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, to attend March 20 enthronement of the newly elected Metropolitan of Geron Chalcedon, His Eminence Emmanuel. The enthronement will take place at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Chalcedon, officiated by the Ecumenical Patriarch.

Greek Deputy FM Constantinos Vlasis is expected to represent Athens.
