The Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and All Albania, His Beatitude Anastasios, officiated on Thursday at the celebrating St. Prokopios Cathedral in Tirana, as the hierarch reminded the congregation that the first Divine Liturgy held in Albania after the fall of the atheist communist regime was in the same church.
The place of worship was returned to the Church of Albania after having been confiscated for more than four decades by the communist regime in the country.
