The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, speaking at an event in his honor, organized on Monday evening by the Municipality of Lividia, in south-central Greece, referred to a need for the Church and the field of science to cooperate.
He stated, characteristically, “…those who struggle against the Church and science are on a wrong path; religion and science have their own space, and have the ability to cooperate; in fact, they are obliged to have such cooperation.”
