Alexandria Patriarchate celebrates feast day of St. Phanourios

The Feast Day of St. Phanourios was celebrated last week in the namesake chapel of the Patriarchal Monastery of St. George, in Cairo’s old quarter.
Services were officiated by the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, in the presence of representatives of the Greek consulate in the Egyptian capital, the Abbot of the Holy Monastery, the fraternity of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, and many of the faithful in Cairo.
