11th Synaxis of bishops of Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia convened this week

The 11th Synaxis, or Assembly, of the bishops of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia was held earlier this week in Sydney, under the chairmanship of His Eminence, Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
Speaking to the assembled hierarchs, His Eminence conveyed the warmest best wishes and blessings of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and briefed them about the current issues and initiatives of the local Church.
