Epiphany services on Cyprus

Τhe First Secretary of the Church of Cyprus’  Holy Metropolis of Konstantia and Ammohostos, Archimandrite Fr. Avgoustinos, on Thursday officiated at the services for great feast day of the Theophany, or Epiphany, as based on the Gregorian calendar.

During the annual sanctification of the waters ceremony, the Very Reverend Avgoustinos expressed a wish for next year’s celebrations to take place in the city of Famagusta, one freed from illegal Turkish occupation.
