Patriarch of All Romania Daniel officiates at Divine Liturgy on New Year’s Day
The Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, on Sunday officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the chapel of the Patriarchal residence in Bucharest.
In a sermon, His Beatitude focused on the life, preaching and martyrdom of the sacred John the Forerunner, also known as John the Baptist, who ministered at the Mystery of the Divine Baptism of Christ.
The Patriarch of All Romania emphasized the significance entailed in the Baptism of Our Lord in the design for humanity’s salvation.
