Feast day of Stephen, Archdeacon & First Martyr
The Church today venerates the memory of Stephen, Archdeacon & First Martyr, who achieved the crown of martyrdom when he ws stoned by the unbelievers roughly three years after the Ascension of the Lord. Today is also an Afterfeast of the Nativity.
