Best wishes pour in for Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew

Messages and phone calls expressing best wishes for a speedy recuperation and on the occasion of the Christmas Feast Day continued to be received by the Ecumenical Patriarch, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus a day earlier.

His All Holiness remains in good spirits and with only mild symptoms present. The Ecumenical Patriarch was fully vaccinated.

Among others, best wishes were conveyed by the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the president of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
