Foreing Affairs Minister Dendias hosts dinner for Thrace’s Christian & Muslim religious leaders
Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias hosted an evening dinner for the four Christian Orthodox Metropolitans and the three Overseeing Muftis of Thrace, in the city of Alexandroupoli on Thursday.
This is the first time a Greek foreign affairs minister meets with both Christian and Muslim religious leaders.
The event took place on the eve of International Human Rights Day, and also served as a message that Christians and Muslims can live together peacefully in Thrace.
