Archdiocese of America fund for wildfire-ravaged areas of Greece exceeds one million dollars

The Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, on Wednesday received the Bishop of Medeia, His Grace Apostolos, at the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
Bishop Apostolos is due to depart for Greece at the head of a team that will distribute proceeds of a fund created for the relief of areas devastated by wildfires in Greece over the past summer.

The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese launched the Fund, which has raised more than 1 million dollars so far.
