Metropolitan of Dodoni Chrysostomos calls for Church of Greece Holy Synod to examine issue of obligatory vaccination for clerics

The Metropolitan of Dodoni, His Eminence Chrysostomos, speaking on Greek public television on Thursday, revealed he proposed – a day earlier – to the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, that the latter recommend to the Church of Greece’s Holy Synod that vaccination for the Covid-19 virus be designated as obligatory for clerics and Church employees serving at places of worship.
