Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije refers to significance of Divine Liturgy

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, this week spoke on the significance of the Divine Liturgy as the quintessential expression of unity within the Church.
His Holiness spoke at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Novi Sad, and on the occasion of the restoration of the Church of St. George the Great Martyr and Triumphant, the patron saint of the Serbian city.

Before the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Patriarch Porfirije bestowed the order of St. Savvas to several individuals who have distinguished themselves for their actions and activity in the local community.
