Metropolitan of Karpenisi Georgios: Church targeted by some quarters during pandemic

The Metropolitan of Karpenisi, His Eminence Georgios, on Friday told the Orthodoxia news agency that the Church was targeted by some quarters during the pandemic, while also referring to more difficult personal relationships during the public health crisis, speaking in the wake of a recent encyclical issued by the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece to all Orthodox Metropolises in the country.
Referring to the issue of vaccination for Covid-19, His Eminence said this was a medical, not a spiritual matter.
