The eve of the feast day of the Unmercenary Physicians, Cosmas and Damian, was celebrated in Thessaloniki with an appeal, towards the faithful, that they respect medical science as a Gift of God to man.
Con-celebratory services were held at a dedicated, to the saints, cathedral in the northern Greece metropolis, with all pandemic-related precautions and restrictions in place.

An Archieratical Divine Liturgy was held in the afternoon, officiated by the Metropolitan of Syros, His Eminence Dorotheos, following an invitation by the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, His Eminence Anthimos.
