Resounding turnout for latest online Archontariki from Mt. Athos with Elder Ephraim
Turnout for Monday’s online Archontariki from Mount Athos with the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim was resounding, again showing that the Internet can substantially assist in modern-day missionary work.
The Elder Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, dedicated the first part of his address to last week’s Translation of the Relics of Elder Joseph of Vatopedi, 12 years after the latter’s Repose in the Lord.
The online Archontariki lasted for two hours, with the Elder taking questions from participants from around the world.
The assembly was translated into five languages.
