Orthodox Archdiocese of Tirana refutes press report in Athens daily

The Orthodox Archdiocese of Tirana this week issued a categorical denial of a news report in the weekend edition of the Athens daily “Estia”, which claimed that the Archbishop of Durres, Tirana and All Albania, His Beatitude Anastasios, has allegedly contacted the Greek prime minister’s office regarding the assignment of teachers for Greek minority schools in the country.
The statement, which was also posted on the Archdiocese’s social media accounts, underlined that the substance and details cited in the article were simply not true.
