Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije views devotional film ‘Man of God’

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, this week viewed the devotional film “Man of God” in Serbia, attending a premiere in a central Belgrade movie theater.
His Holiness later posted a message on social media, where he noted that he was impressed with the film, adding that amid a period when selfishness and excess dominates in the world, the film “Man of God”, which recounts the life of a very great contemporary saint, St. Nektarios of Aegina, is exactly what modern man needs today.

The movie premiere was held before a packed movie theater, while the film’s director, Yelena Popovic, who hails from Serbia, spoke before the screening.
