Parishes around Greece including ‘Man of God’ screening in their pastoral program

Many parishes around Greece have included the film “Man of God” in their pastoral program and ministry. The film, by director Yelena Popovic, recounts the life and works of early 20th century St. Nektarios of Aegina.

‘Man of God’ has exceeded ticket sales of more than 225,000 in Greece since its premiere on Aug. 26, setting box office records in the country.

Many hierarchs and clerics around the country have highly recommended the motion picture to the faithful, with some parishes, in fact, organizing excursions of groups of parishioners to attend a showing of the film.
