US Congressional members urge UN action against Turkey over Varosha threats

Members of the US Congressional Caucus on Hellenic Issues, in a joint letter, called on the UN Secretary-General to take concrete action against Turkey over the Erdogan regime’s threats to open the closed-off Cypriot resort of Varosha.

In the letter, official Turkey’s claims on Varosha are refuted in detail, while the letter underlines that Ankara’s recent actions are in flagrant violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions.
