Wildfire on Mount Athos

A wildfire erupted on Tuesday on the semi-autonomous monastic community of Mount Athos, in northern Greece, and specifically in a remote and rocky spot near the Mikras Aghias Annas site.
Dozens of firefighters have been dispatched to the area, with fire-fighting planes also assisting, in the face of gusty winds in the area.
