Ordination at the Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monastery of the Holy Trinity
On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, upon receiving permission from His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monestery of the Holy Trinity on the Island of Halki, where he ordained Paul Gómez González to the Holy Diaconate. His Eminence bestowed upon the newly ordained Deacon the new name of Petros, as chosen by the Ecumenical Patriarch himself. AXIOS!
