The Archbishop of Cyprus, His Beatitude Chrysostomos II, this week again referred to the issue of Covid-19 vaccinations on the island republic, and specifically to those employed at the Archdiocese in Nicosia.

Specifically, Archbishop Chrysostomos stated: “…Today, I made an announcement at the Archdiocese; when they get back to work … those who have not been vaccinated must be vaccinated. Those who are not vaccinated should not come back…They must consider themselves fired… ”
Additionally, His Beatitude said he will convene a session of the Church of Cyprus’ Holy Synod very soon, after the current summer holidays.
