Serbian Patriarch Porfirije attends enthronement of new Bishop of Valjevo Isihije

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, was present on Sunday at the enthronement of the new Bishop of Valjevo, His Grace Isihije, at the Cathedral of the Resurrection in the same-name west Serbian city.
In his address, His Holiness reminded the gathered faithful that “…the word of the Bishop must be based on faith in a Living God.”
Porfirije also told the congregation that His Grace Isihije, who was elected by the Holy Synod of the Serbian Patriarchate last May, will be a worthy successor to his predecessors.
