Special prayers offered at Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest for Elder Ephraim’s speedy recovery  

Messages of compassion, prayers for a speedy recovery and the faithful’s love for the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim continued to pour in from every corner of the world, as the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi remains intubated in an Athens hospital’s intensive care unit.

After the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy on the Monday of the Holy Spirit at the Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest, and with the blessing of the Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, special prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of the beloved Elder, led by the Bishop of Ploesti, His Grace Varlaam.
