Ecumenical Patriarch receives Mt. Athos delegation

Τhe Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Thursday received the visiting Metropolitan of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, His Eminence Ioustinos, and the Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Esfigmenos, the Elder Archimandrite Bartholomew, who led a delegation of hieromonks from the semi-autonomous monastic community of Mt. Athos to the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Phanar district seat.

In a related development, His All Holiness on Friday was briefed over the charitable mission and multi-dimensional social work of the Turkish Red Crescent by the organization’s president, Dr. Kerem Kınık.

The Ecumenical Patriarch praised the Red Crescent leadership for the organization’s charitable works.
