Greek DM stresses importance of implementation of agreement on military cemeteries in southern Albania to country’s envoy in Athens

Greek Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos on Wednesday received a courtesy visit by the Albanian ambassador to Athens, Luela Hajdaraga.

Both sides expressed a volition to further boost defense ties, while the Greek minister emphasized the significance that Athens attributes to implementing a bilateral agreement covering military cemeteries in southern Albania, where the Greek fallen from the Greek-Italian conflict in the early stages of WWII are interred.
