Crucial date for ecclesiastical academic in Greece

Fr. Nikolaos Loudovikos, a lecturer at the Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, in an article posted on the Orthodoxia news agency’s website, pointed to May 15 as the crucial day for such institutions in Greece.
The country’s relevant education ministry on that day will announce the number of new entrants for the coming academic year.

Fr. Nikolaos warned that if the ministry announces no new entries for such tertiary academies, this will mean a de facto abolition of such institutions, which in itself is a direct attack against the Church, as he warned.
