A video has been posted on the Pemptousia television showing last year’s Service of the Nipter, the Washing of the Feet, at the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, on Mount Athos, where the Abbot, the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, washes the feet of monks, in line with the devotional liturgy commemorating the day and the act of perfect love and profound humility by Christ.
