Holy Eparchial Synod of Archdiocese of America convened remotely

The Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, on Monday convened a Holy Eparchial Synod via video conference.
During this assembly, members of Holy Eparchial Synod took decisions on various issues related to the Archdiocese, the diaspora, local Metropolises and the institutions that belong to the Archdiocese.

Τhe Holy Eparchial Synod expressed its satisfaction with the favorable outcome of a funding solution for the Clergy and Lay Employees Pension Plan of the Archdiocese.

Hierarchs also approved the establishment of a Foundation of the Holy Metropolis of Chicago.
