1821 Revolution events at St. Paul Orthodox parish in Hempstead, NY

The Greek school of the St. Paul Orthodox parish in Hempstead, New York, commenced events this week for the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution of 1821.

Following a Divine Liturgy on the Saturday of the Soul, pupils of the parish’s schools marched in front of the cathedral courtyard, carrying Greek flags and banners.
